AWARDS

We are committed to produce premium quality of wine and are working with passion and dedication 365 days in the vineyard and the wine cellar to achieve this goal. Regularly our work is rewarded with great feedback , not only from customers but experts of the industry who awarded us with following awards, among others:

Awarded SALON winery 2026

Sauvignon Blanc

Just as in 2023, our Sauvignon Blanc has once again impressed the judges with top marks in the national competition, thereby securing its place in the SALON.

The SALON is widely regarded as Austria’s most demanding wine competition. It is based on regional wine awards, where the points achieved are decisive. The selected wines are then tasted again in a blind tasting against the finest Austrian wines. The best of these are ultimately crowned national winners.

Lower Austria Regional Wine Awards 2026

Nine of our wines were awarded gold medals at the Lower Austria Regional Wine Awards, with three going through to the final round of the Regional Winners’ Tasting on 19 June.
This tasting is regarded as a benchmark for the new vintage, with over 6,000 wines submitted by 900 winegrowers. Once again, the quality of our current vintage has been confirmed!

Following wines were awarded with a gold medal:

  • Blancsecco, 2025
  • Sparkling Pink, 2025
  • Muskateller Frizzante, 2025
  • Grüner Veltliner Muschelkalk, 2025
  • Grüner Veltliner Weinviertel DAC, 2025
  • Vinus Novus Gemischter Satz, 2025

AWC 2026 Spring Tasting

5 times Gold medal

The AWC Vienna is regarded as one of the world’s leading and officially recognized quality competitions for wine. Each year, more than 1,400 producers submit their wines for evaluation as part of this international benchmark. At this year’s Spring Tasting, a total of 4,486 wines from 34 countries across all continents were assessed by an independent panel of experts.

We also submitted a selection of our wines this year and are proud to have been awarded five Gold medals:

  • Sparkling Pink, 2025
  • Muskateller Frizzante, 2025
  • Donauriesling, 2025
  • Gemischter Satz, 2025
  • Cabernet Sauvignon Exklusive, 2023

Sauvignon Blanc Selection by Concours Mondial de Bruxelles (CMB)

Awarded gold & silver

Convinced of the outstanding quality of our Sauvignon Blanc wines, we decided for the first time this year to submit entries to the international Sauvignon Blanc competition in Brussels the Sauvignon Selection by Concours Mondial de Bruxelles. While Sauvignon Blanc remains a niche variety in Lower Austria compared to other Austrian wine-growing regions, this grape variety holds a special fascination for us at our winery.

At the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, an international panel of 65 judges evaluated around 1,000 wines in a blind tasting, with only the vintage disclosed. We are proud that our wines made a strong impression and proved successful in this highly competitive global setting:

We submitted our Sauvignon Blanc (classic) vintage 2025, which was awarded Silver, with judges praising its expressive nose and vibrant citrus fruit aromas.

Our Sauvignon Traminer Exklusiv a barrel-aged cuvée composed of the 2023 vintage (70%) and 2024 vintage (30%) received Gold, standing out for its elegance and overall balance.

falstaff Trophy non-alcoholic 2026

Perlavie 2025 - 92 points

At the Falstaff Trophy “non-alcoholic” 2026, our Perlavie received 92 points in the category “Verjus and similar non-alcoholic beverages,” placing just one point behind the top-ranked entries. This recognition is particularly meaningful to us, as it confirms the quality of our non-alcoholic alternative.

“Perlavie impresses with aromas of yellow grapes, white wine, and elderflower. Its fine effervescence brings notes of mustard seed spice to the palate, complemented by a touch of acidity and a crisp grape character. This makes it the ideal summer aperitif — alcohol-free and containing <0.1 mg/L histamine.”

Winner falstaff DONAU TROPHY 2025

Donauriesling 2024

In 2024, two new white grape varieties were officially approved for quality wine production in Austria: Donauriesling and Donauveltliner. Both are PIWI (fungus-resistant) varieties bred in HBLA und Bundesamt für Wein- und Obstbau Klosterneuburg. In spring 2025, Falstaff tasted these wines for the first time, and we are delighted to have achieved 1st place with 91 points for our Donauriesling 2024.

Our semi-dry, award-winning wine impressed with notes of yellow tropical fruit on the nose, complemented by delicate fruit sweetness, a vibrant acidity structure, and a distinct minerality on the palate.

Awarded SALON winery 2023

Sauvignon Blanc, Ried Buchberg

Once again this year, we had the opportunity to compete with a selection of our wines in Austria’s most demanding wine competition: the Salon Österreich Wein 2023.

After the federal states nominate the best wines from more than 8,000 submissions, the top 600 are evaluated by an expert jury in a blind tasting. Ultimately, only the finest 250 wines and 25 sparkling wines from across Austria are admitted to the Salon.

We are therefore especially proud that our Sauvignon Blanc, Ried Buchberg (vintage 2022) was selected among these top 250 wines, allowing us to carry the title Salon Winery 2023.

Following an outstanding result at the regional wine awards — where the wine achieved 3rd place — this fruit-driven wine impressed the jury with its intense notes of green bell pepper and gooseberry.

Regional Champion: BLÜTENMUSKATELLER

This year once again, we submitted a selection of our wines to the Lower Austrian wine awards, thereby competing for a place among the best wines in the region.

More than 960 wineries entered over 6,000 wines in the competition for the title of regional champion, and we are proud that two of our wines performed exceptionally well:

With our Blütenmuskateller, we won the Regional Champion (Landessieger) title in the category “semi-dry up to 90 g residual sugar” at the Niederösterreichische Landesweinprämierung.

Our second finalist, our Sauvignon Blanc, also achieved a top ranking with an outstanding 3rd place in the category “Sauvignon Blanc.”

In addition, eight wines were awarded Gold medals during the blind tasting.
